Losing Nemo, the new animation film about industrial overfishing made by a 30+ strong international team of animators, premiered in Amsterdam yesterday. The Movies cinema hosted the event, with a mix of film makers, crew of FishAct, supporters and campaigners in attendance. You can view the full film here.

An international group of more than 35 professional animators, designers, 3D modelers, composers and producers have made Losing Nemo – entirely voluntary – in just under 5 months. Initiated by the animation film studio MrLee, the ambitious animation film project is set to bring attention to the problems of overfishing and the need for action to turn the tide for conservation. Explore the project blog and see how the project has developed over the months.

FishAct would like to thank Eetlust and Just Like Your Mom for sponsoring us. As veggie catering companies they donated vegan sushi, which was handed out during the premiere. Also a big thank you to The Movies for hosting the event.
