Great news! After attending last year’s Citizen Inspector training in Hamburg, three committed people decided to start a new FishAct volunteer network in Germany:

Valeska Diemel, Markus Frenzel and Sofian Zerelli will now start building a network of volunteers, supporters and partners in Germany to spread the word about the projects and campaigns of FishAct and to raise much needed awareness on the issues of overfishing and illegal fishing among German citizens.

“We’re looking forward to build a new ocean movement with people from all walks of life here in Germany. There are so many possibilities and chances for charities here and we can’t wait to get things going. Our small team of activists could not be more motivated and I’m sure our network will grow very quickly!”, Valeska Diemel, National Director Germany .

We officially launched our new charitable foundation for FishAct in Germany. Big day!

The team will broaden our volunteer network, that is already active in the Netherlands, in England and Spain. Interested in volunteering with us? Get in touch!
