“Whatever you care about, the Summit’s the place to make it count. On the 14th and 15th of February 2018, you’re invited to sit in on a hotbed of discussion, debate, activism and action, from campaigners and grassroots voices across the globe.”
The LUSH Summit in Old Billingsgate Market, London exceeded all expectations. The location was turned into a magical world filled with positivity and energy. Countless activists, NGOs, artists and other people came together to share their faith in a better world.
Visitors could wander around the Human Rights space, a Digital Ethics space, an Animal Protection space and so many more perfectly designed areas. Delicious food and drinks were served all day long and there were many opportunities to participate in workshops and debates. There was so much to experience, to see and to smell that two days of summit went by way too fast!
Valeska Diemel, director of FishAct gave a talk on the Ocean Stage, surrounded by jellyfish lamps, a whale skeleton made of ocean plastics and sandy dunes. Here are some impression from the Ocean Space:
LUSH has supported FishAct’s work from the beginning on. Their funding has always been of crucial importance for our campaigns and we would like to thank all the lovely LUSH people for their ongoing support!
